Is fixing day of marriage on the day of birth is prohibited in Islam ? Ex- If I am born on Friday, Can't I get married on any Friday of the week ?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

Friday is one of the excellent days and it is desirable to conduct the marriage contract on Friday; please refer to Fatwa 91521.

As regards choosing Friday because it is the birthday of a person, then this implies regarding the birthday as an ‘Eed (holiday), and this is not among the ways of the Muslims; rather, it is an innovation that infiltrated the Muslim communities from the non-Muslims, so you should avoid this.
