What is the ruling of marrying on Saturday? Is it disliked?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

There is no harm to marry in any day of the week, but it is better to choose Friday.

Ibn Qudaamah said: 'It is desirable to conduct the marriage contract on Friday, because some scholars from our righteous predecessors were of the view that this is desirable, among whom were Dhamrah Ibn Habeeb, Raashid Ibn Sa’d, and Habeeb Ibn ‘Utbah, may Allaah have mercy on them. Friday is an honourable day and a day of celebration. It is a day in which Aadam was created.'
