Seek only lawful treatment for spells

Question

We are three sisters who are known for beauty, education and observance of prayers – praise be to Allaah. However, several Shaykhs told us that a spell has been made for us to prevent our marriage or success in anything. Therefore, troubles come once anyone proposes to engage any of us, and consequently the engagement ends unsuccessfully. How can we break this magic or spell?

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds.  I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

Dear sister, do not despair. You have to be patient with the trials of Allaah The Almighty for you. Such a trial is a part of your fate, which you must believe in and accept. Allaah the Almighty Says (what means): {Indeed, all things We created with predestination.}[Quran 54:49]

Predestination, as a whole, is good for the believer, for it is from Allaah The Almighty. The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, used to say in his supplication: "Wal Khayru Kulluhu fiee Yadayka, Wash Sharru Laysa Ilayk." (All good is entirely in Your  Hands, and evil is not from You.) [Muslim]

If you are nearly certain that you are under a spell, you should seek Divine treatment, not a Satanic one. You should also know that there is treatment for every disease, as the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said. [Abu Daawood, (Al-Albaani: Saheeh)]

To know how to treat magic spells, please read Fatwas 5252, 13277 and 88705. To read about the treatment for envy, please refer to Fatwas 3273 and 7967.

Also, do not approach soothsayers and magicians. Instead, you should refer to religious scholars in your country and you will find a solution, Allaah willing.

May Allaah The Almighty give you and your sisters a way out of every trouble and misfortune.

Allaah Knows best.
