All of mankind will be gathered in land of Al-Hashr Fatwa No: 318682
- Fatwa Date:23-3-2016
“Whoever controls his anger when he is able to act upon it, Allaah will call him to come in front of all of the Creation to let him choose from the Hoor Al-ʻAyn (women of Paradise) and marry from them whomever he pleases.” [‘Sahih al-Jami’ #6518] Those who will enter Paradise without reckoning will also get this reward, will they come back in the land of Al-Hashr (gathering)?
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ʻalayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
No human being shall be spared the assembly in the land of Al-Hashr (gathering) on the Day of Resurrection; all the believers, the disbelievers, the pious, the sinners, and even the Prophets of Allaah, who are the most honorable among mankind, shall be assembled in the land of gathering. Allaah, The Exalted, says (what means): {And (warn of) the Day when We will remove the mountains and you will see the earth prominent, and We will gather them and not leave behind from them anyone.} [Quran 18:47]
Ibn Katheer wrote:
“Allaah, The Exalted, says (what means): {That is a Day for which the people will be collected, and that is a Day (which will be) witnessed.} [Quran 11:103] This means that all of mankind will be gathered; Allaah will gather them all, the first of them and the last of them, and He will not leave anyone behind: {...and We will gather them and not leave behind from them anyone.} [Quran 18:47]
{That is a Day (which will be) witnessed}; this may mean that all of the creation will be gathered in this great day that will be witnessed by all the angels. All the Messengers of Allaah will assemble, and all of the creation shall be gathered: mankind, jinn, birds, beasts, and animals will stand before Allaah in one row. He will judge between His creatures for all of their deeds, and He will not treat any of His creatures with injustice. Allaah, The Exalted, says (what means): {Indeed, Allaah does not do injustice, (even) as much as an atom's weight; while if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.} [Quran 4:40] Allaah wrongs not even with the weight of a speck of dust, but if there is any good, He doubles it.” [Tafseer Ibn Katheer]
The Prophet, sallallaahu ʻalayhi wa sallam, said, “On the Day of Resurrection, Allaah will gather all the first and the last (people) in one plain, and the voice of the announcer will reach all of them, and one will be able to see them all, and the sun will come closer to them...” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Ibn ʻUthaymeen wrote, "The hadeeth reads, 'This is your nation, and amongst them are seventy thousand persons who will be made to enter Paradise without account or torment.' This means that seventy thousand from among the Muslim nation will be admitted to Paradise without reckoning or punishment; they will be resurrected and assembled in the land of gathering and then directly enter Paradise without reckoning or torment..." [Sharh Riyaadh As-Saaliheen]
Those who will be admitted to Paradise without reckoning will first be gathered with all of mankind in the land of gathering. The only difference among people on that day will be in the manner and effects of the assembly; some people will be honored and safeguarded from harm and will be shaded (in the shade of the Throne of Allaah) or will be granted the choice of whomever they wish of the Hoor Al-ʻAyn, as stated in the hadeeth, and others will be humiliated and punished. Allaah, The Exalted, says (what means): {On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation, and will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst.} [Quran 19:85-86]
Allaah knows best.
