My brother is having a big problem; can I give him my zakat money?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

If your brother is poor or he is unable to repay his debts, then you may give the Zakaah to him. This is confirmed by Saheeh [authentic] Hadeeths of the Prophet .
