Is it permissible in Islam to built a mosque with Riba (money you take from the bank with interest)?

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

It is lawful to build a mosque with Riba (interest and/or usury) money. But the person who builds it with that money is not rewarded for that as his intention should be to get rid of this ill-gotten money. But we believe that it is more appropriate to spend this money in other public interests such as: constructing bridges, roads, public toilets, …..etc.
