Why People Follow Islam Fatwa No: 85456

Why do people follow Islam?
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
Islam is a religion that all people, who think in an appropriate way, consider as a perfect religion. It is a comprehensive religion that has the ability to rule the world, manage it, govern it in the right way, bring to humanity justice, happiness, and steadfastness on the right path – the path of Allah.
Allah Says about this religion (what means): {So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.} [Quran 30:30]
This means that the Islamic rulings and rites do not contradict nor clash with the right reasoning and sound Fitrah (natural predisposition upon which Allah created mankind). So, if all that corrupts the Fitrah and conceals it, and prevents it from knowing the truth is removed, then thanks to its natural predisposition to accept the truth, it accepts Islam.
People also follow Islam because of the miracle of the Quran. This miracle lasted and is still present even after the death of the Prophet Muhammed although the miracles of his fellow Prophets ended with their deaths. In fact, there is no way now to prove that the Prophets who preceded Prophet Muhammed performed miracles except through what was revealed by Allah and was reported by His Prophet.
However, the Quran is a lasting miracle that did not change through time. The Quran is a miracle in its eloquence, its style, its rulings, its verdicts, its reports and its numerous revelations.
This is why many people chose Islam and this is why Islam is gaining more and more ground everywhere in the world.
The Prophet said: “Every Prophet was given miracles because of which people believed, but what I have been given is Divine Inspiration which Allah has revealed to me. So I hope that my followers will outnumber the followers of other Prophets on the Day of Resurrection.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
May Allah guide us to that which pleases Him and make us good Muslims who guide people to this great religion, Islam.
