Masturbation for more satisfaction is forbidden Fatwa No: 86373
- Fatwa Date:30-9-2003
Would Allah forgive a woman that has intercourse with her husband but wasn't satisfied so she did masturbation while showering?
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. Masturbation, in fact, is a prohibited act, which involves transgression of the limits set by Allah The Almighty, Who says describing His pious and prosperous worshippers: Successful indeed are the believers. Those who offer their Salât (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allâh has forbidden). And those who pay the Zakât (obligatory charity due for the poor) . And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors.[23:1-7] This bad habit leads to bad physical and psychological consequences, in addition to its being prohibited. Therefore, whoever did it must repent to Allah sincerely, intend heartily to give it up in the future, and regret what he has done. If Allah finds that this repentance is sincere and purely for His sake, He will accept it. Allah Almighty Says: And He it is Who accepts repentance from His slaves, and forgives sins, and He knows what you do.[42:25]. In Saheeh Muslim, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, Stretches out His Hand during the night so that the people repent for the fault committed from dawn till dusk and He stretches out His Hand during the day so that the people may repent for the fault committed from dusk to dawn. (He would accept repentance) before the sun rises in the West (before the Day of Resurrection). The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) also said: Allah the Exalted accepts the repentance of His slave any time before he gargles (i.e. at his death moment). [Narrated by At-Tirmizi , Ibn Majah , and Ahmad in his Musnad] This means that Allah, the Exalted, accepts repentance if it is sincere as long as the person has not reached the moment when his soul is to depart his body (i.e. during the last moment of his life). Allah knows best.
