Will the Muslim children who die young be birds in Paradise? Please reply with evidence and in details.

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

The Muslim children who die will be in Paradise, Allaah willing. The evidence is that 'Aa’ishah narrated that the Prophet was called to a funeral of a young boy from the Ansaar [the Muslim residents of Madeenah], and I said: "O messenger of Allaah! Tooba [a valley in Paradise] for this bird of the birds of Paradise, as he did not commit any sin, [and he did not live until the age of being accounted for his sins.]" [Ibn Maajah]. Some of the wording of this narration is also reported by Imaam Muslim.

Imaam An-Nawawi when interpreting the above narration reported by Muslim, said: 'The reliable scholars agreed in a consensus that the Muslim children who die will be in Paradise as they are not held accountable for their acts.'
