Over 5,000 stranded in flood-hit Sindh

Over 5,000 people are still stranded in the flood-hit areas of Sindh, it is learnt. Army helicopters were being used to evacuate people, the ISPR said.

In Kamber, 2,705 food packets, 258 water bottles, and 113 cartons of clothes were distributed and 3,023 patients were being treated at army camps in Qubba Said Khan and Kamber.

Three trucks of rations containing 1,020 packets had been received from various agencies for distribution among affected people in Kamber. Troops were also providing relief and rescue services to people stranded at Worah.

The army has established eight medical camps in Nushki. Up to 50,000 affected people had so far been rescued in Balochistan where around 1,782 tons of ration, 12,840 tents, 21,558 water bottles, 1,579 cartons of medicines and 7,352 blankets were distributed.
