A US drone fired two missiles into a fighters' compound in Pakistan's tribal area, killing at least 10 people, local security officials said.
The strike targeted Inzarkas village, 50 kilometers (30 miles) west of Miramshah, the main town in the North Waziristan tribal district near the border with Afghanistan.
Another security official confirmed the strike and casualties but said the nationalities of those killed in the attack were not yet known.
US forces have been waging a covert drone war on the northwestern tribal belt. More than 900 people have been killed in over 100 drone strikes in Pakistan since August 2008.
