Wants to break fasting to maintain her looks

Question:

I will get married on the second day of ‘Eed Al-Fitr. I have a thin body, and I work all day. Is it therefore permissible for me not to fast Ramadan?

Answer:
All perfect praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) is His Slave and Messenger.

We advise you to fear Allah, be always conscious of the fact that He is watching you, and constantly remember His Greatness. You should know that breaking fast during Ramadan, deliberately and without a Sharee‘ah-approved excuse, is a grave major sin. It is even greater than the sin of adultery, theft, drinking alcohol or killing. Ibn Taymiyyah may Allah have mercy upon him said, “The person who deliberately abandons fasting without a Sharee‘ah-approved excuse is committing a grave major sin.”
Imaam Ath-Thahabi may Allah have mercy upon him said, “Muslim scholars have unanimously agreed that the person who abandons fasting during Ramadan without a Sharee‘ah-approved excuse such as sickness or any other reason, is more evil than the adulterer, the extortionist tax-collector, and the one addicted to alcohol. They even doubt his Islam and consider him a dissolute and an atheist.”
Only the traveler or the sick person, who is exposed to harm or hardship due to fasting, is permitted to break the fast. You belong to neither of these categories. What you have mentioned is not an excuse for abandoning fasting. If fasting makes you weak, to the extent that you will not be able to get married on the second day of ‘Eed Al-Fitr, then you will have to delay your marriage.
Abandoning fasting to maintain your looks and maintain a graceful body and a glowing face is absolutely impermissible.
You should know that you must be grateful to Allah for His favors upon you. Gratitude is realized by diligence in obeying Allah. Expressing gratitude maintains the blessings that one already has and makes him entitled to further blessings. Allah The Exalted Says (what means): {And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, “If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.”}[Quran 14: 7]
Allah Knows best.
