Dozens Killed as Train Hits Bus in Pakistan
At least 40 people have been killed in Pakistan when a train slammed into a bus packed with students and teachers at an unmanned railway crossing. A police official said women and children were among the dead but he could not give exact figures. The accident happened on Saturday near Malak Wal town, 150 km south of the capital, Islamabad. "Around 40 to 45 people have been killed," police official Mohammad Ashraf said. The cause of the accident could not be immediately determined but Ashraf said the railway crossing where the accident happened had been unmanned.
