A huge blast in the Russian republic has killed and injured many. There are conflicting reports whether pro-Moscow Chechen leader Akhmad Kadyrov was killed.
The blast on Sunday at the Dynamo stadium in the capital city of Grozny came during a ceremony marking victory in the second world war.
There are varying reports of the toll as details are still emerging.
Quoting the Russian Interior Ministry, the Tass news agency reported at least 14 killed and 20 wounded.
A spokesperson for Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry said a landmine had exploded in a VIP seating area.

According to Interfax, the commander of Russian troops in Chechnya, General Valery Baranov, and the pro-Moscow leader Akhmad Kadyrov were killed.
But the Tass news agency quoting Russian officials said Kadyrov was not killed.
Russian television showed chaotic scenes at the stadium as emergency services treated the victims.
The emergency ministry spokesman said a second landmine had been found after the evacuation of the stadium.
The cause of the blast is still unknown, but the Defence Ministry has blamed Chechen fighters.
Russia and Chechen fighters have been fighting each other since the 1990s.
Fighters have continued attacks despite Moscow having reimposed itself in Grozny in 2000.
