Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

What we can say to you is to be patient and seek the reward from Allaah because patience is the key to getting out of difficulties and it has its good outcomes in this world and in the Hereafter; for more benefit, please refer to Fatwa 83577.

We advise you to seek Ruqyah, and it is more appropriate to perform Ruqyah on yourself by yourself, as in this way, you will be more sincere and it is more likely that you will be cured.

However, if you need someone to perform Ruqyah on you, then you should seek someone who is believed to be pious and steadfast on righteousness. You should choose someone who does not resort to beating in his treatment because beating has many serious dangers and it is not a controlled act and it may cause many disadvantages for the patient. Therefore, the correct opinion is to forbid beating when performing Ruqyah and to consider it as an impermissible act. Moreover, if beating affects you, then this is evidence that the person who performs Ruqyah is not experienced and that beating is not permissible even according to the view of the scholars who consider it permissible. For more benefit, please refer to Fataawa 85500 and 88705.

Also, you should be keen on reciting the mention of Allaah, especially in the morning and in the evening and when going to bed.

Finally, it should be noted that it is permissible for you to break your oath, as it is confirmed that the Prophet said: "I swear by Allaah, Allaah willing, I do not make an oath on something and then I find something else better than it, except that I expiate for my oath and do what is better.”

If you break your oath, then you have to expiate for breaking it; for more benefit, please refer to Fataawa 81501 and 81387.

Allaah Knows best.
