Relying on Allaah a shield against devil’s plot Fatwa No: 21462
- Fatwa Date:13-10-2010
There is a specialist in Sharee‘ah-approved Ruqyahs (incantations) and when he makes Ruqyah for others during the daytime, he sees someone in his sleep at night threatening him and ordering him not to make Ruqyah again for this person. How can you explain this?
All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
Please note that this site is only prepared to answer questions related to Sharee‘ah and we have no specialist in interpreting dreams.
However, we would like to advise this Ruqyah therapist not to stop helping his brothers because of a mere dream, which could be from the devil. Therefore, he should hold fast to Allaah The Almighty, rely on Him, recite Athkaar (remembrances and mentionings of Allaah) regularly and continue to help his brothers as much as possible. In a Hadeeth of the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, he ordered the Muslim to help his brother if he could do him any good. [Muslim]
And Allaah Knows best.
