Is wearing a wedding dress with a long hem considered an aspect of haughtiness?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

A woman's wearing a wedding dress with a long hem is permissible and is not considered an aspect of haughtiness. In his commentary on Saheeh Muslim, An-Nawawi said:

Scholars unanimously agree that women are permitted to wear dresses with a long hem. It is related in a sound hadith that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, allowed women to wear a dress with a cubit-long hem.
