What is the fatwa on reciting Mawleed un Nabi on day of Meelad un Nabi Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)?

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

It is not permissible to celebrate the Prophet's birthday or any other's birthday. If such a celebration were a good thing, the Prophet Muhammad his Companions, and their followers would have done it before us. ( all). This is a clear indication that every birthday celebration is an innovation.
