In other words, they will be tired from writing the rewards of this Durood. Is this correct? & If not please explain me briefly why? please advice me as soon as possible Jazak Allah Khairum
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
At-Tabaraani reported that Ibn 'Abbaas narrated that the Prophet said: “Whoever says: “May Allaah reward our Prophet Muhammad with that which he is worth on our behalf, he would put 70 angels in difficulty in writing its reward.” Al-Albaani commented on this narration saying: “It is very weak.”
Since the narration is very weak, it is not permissible to act according to it.
Indeed, there are many authentic forms of exalting the mention of the Prophet and whoever says them, he will get a great reward. For instance, the Prophet said: “Whoever exalts my mention one time, will be forgiven ten times as much by Allaah.” [Muslim]
Allaah Knows best.
