I have an electrical business. I sell the satellite wires which is used in television in big quantities to customers, please let me know whether it is allowed to sell satellite wire.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. It is unlawful to sell devices to people if the latter will use it in bad and pervert things as doing so is help in transgression and sin which is forbidden. Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {…but help ye not one another in sin and rancour:…}[5:2]. Fuqaha forbid selling to the buyer what he will use in Haram. They gave examples such as selling weapons to Kuffars or thieves and selling grapes to distillers who make spirits out of them. So, if you know that the buyer will use such devices in something forbidden, then it is forbidden to you to sell them to him. But if you do not know what he will do with them, then you may sell them to him unless you are certain that such devices are mostly used in bad things. On the other hand, be confident that Allah will compensate you with a better thing in the place of any bad thing you give up for His Sake. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: You will not give up something for the Sake of Allah but Allah substitutes it with something better. Allah knows best.
