What are the items/objects that are pure?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

The objects that are pure are so many and countless, as in principle all things are pure as long as it is not confirmed with religious evidence that they are impure. All inanimate beings are pure, which are the things that do not have life, and which are not taken from a live being, with the exception of intoxicants. These objects include all the parts of the earth and what grows from it. Among the things that are pure, are animals that are slaughtered according to Islamic rites, dead fish and locusts, and other things.
