All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
It is confirmed in Islamic religion that certainty cannot be removed by doubt. So you should know that in principle you are pure, and you are not obliged to wash your clothes or body unless you are sure that they are touched by an impurity. Since this is the case, if you doubt when cleaning yourself after defecation or urine whether or not the water with which you cleansed splashed from the bucket or other containers, then do not take this doubt into consideration, and remain on the principle which is purity. Also, if you doubt that some drops when cleansing after defecation or urine might have fallen on your clothes, in principle you remained pure and do not take into consideration this doubt. Similarly, if you doubt that some urine might have touched your clothes or your body when defecating or urinating, just forget about it, as the solution for whispers is to forget about it totally, as the scholars indicated.
Furthermore, you should know that the water that is used in removing the impurity takes the ruling of the private parts when it splashes from them (private parts) upon washing them. So if the private parts became pure beforehand, the water that splashes there from [when washing them] are also pure as long as it [the water] does not change.
So in case you are sure that the water with which you cleansed after defecating has fallen into the bucket or another container before your private parts became pure, then cleansing it is easy, you should throw the water in the bucket or container and pour water into it and wash it with it, and then pour the water out.
As regards the clothes on which the water with which you cleansed after defecating or urinating has fallen, then you should pour water on the place of impurity if you know exactly where it had fallen, otherwise you are obliged to wash the entire dress.
Allaah Knows best.
