All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

There is no harm in giving your new-born boy the name you mentioned in the question, although it is better not to give him a compound name, but rather a name such as Muhammad, Ahmad, Abdullah, or Abdur-Rahmaan.
