Question
What should I do in order to drive the Jinn out of the house?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
To expel the jinn, you should continuously mention Allaah The Almighty and recite the Quran in your house. Also, perform voluntary prayers in your house, for the Prophet 
said that Satan flees from the house in which the Chapter Al-Baqarah is recited. [Muslim]
Thus, recite the Quran as much as you can or listen to it through cassette tapes or CDs. You should also regularly observe the 'Athkaar (the legislated supplications and mention of Allaah) in the morning, the evening and those said before going to sleep. They will protect you from Satan. Additionally, remove any forbidden items from your house if there is any, and offer many acts of worship that would bring you closer to Allaah. May Allaah The Almighty avert evil from you.
