Question
Can you give detailed reference and authenticity of this hadith : The Prophet sallalaho alayhi wassallam said "We are people who do not eat until we are hungry, but when we eat we stop before we are satisfied"
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
This tradition was reported by some scholars who compiled literature on the biography of the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. However, Shaykh Ibn Baaz 
classified it as weak.
