All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

After referring to relevant sources, we found out that taurine is beneficial for the body. Therefore, it is Halaal (lawful). The basic principle is that things are lawful unless proven otherwise. Therefore, there is no harm in consuming taurine unless it causes a harm or the like.

However, as doctors advised, a person should follow the instructions regarding the allowed dose in order to avoid potential poisoning or any similar consequence.
