Scholars, I have some OCD regarding Hadith which have been bothering me. First, can we call hadiths: prophetic sayings? As well, is it correct to say something such as a "hadith from the prophet?" Is it wrong and changes the meaning of hadith?
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
First of all, you should repel these whispers and not pay any attention to them. The fact that a Hadeeth is a Prophetic saying is a correct statement and there is no problem about it.
However, your second question is not clear. But you have to avoid whispers and not give in to them as this leads to a great evil.
Allah knows best.
