Assalamo alaikum.Is the personal women bag accepted as adornment if it have some ornaments to butified as flowers and the like?Im asking just because want to buy one but not sure is it adornment or not?Jazak Allah khairan.

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

The view we adopt here in Islamweb is that there is no harm for a woman to carry a handbag (purse), even if it has some kind of decoration, as this is not part of the adornment of dress.

However, a woman should avoid the extraordinary dazzling colors that draws men's attention to her.

It is more appropriate for a Muslim woman to avoid everything that draws attention to her.
