As-sal?mu ?alaykum wa ra?matull?hi wa barak?tuh,In S?rat al-A?r?f, verse 143, when it says that Allah appeared to the mountain, does this mean that Allah revealed part of His veil (light) to the mountain and not His Essence? I understand that Allah is always above His creation and does not enter into it. Could you please provide details about Allah’s manifestation to the mountain in this ?yah?
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
The meaning of ‘Tajalli' is manifestation, and it has been mentioned in the interpretation of Al-Baghawi on the authority of Sahl ibn Sa’ad Al-Sa’idi that Allah the Exalted, revealed from seventy thousand veils of light like the size of a Dirham (a small silver coin). Thus, Tajalli is the appearance of some of His light, and not anything from His essence. And Allah knows best.
In any case, we advise you to refrain from delving deep into such matters or getting carried with whispers which seems from your present question and previous ones that you are suffering from.
Allah knows best.
