I do Namaj (Salat) regularly and try to do it as seriously as I can. And I believe and respect all of Allah's words And Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) Hadith. Now I like music and songs. And I enjoy them such a way that it can't interfere in Allah's Ibadah. Now will Allah forgive me for hearing music or songs?
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
Dear brother, as you know music and songs are forbidden in Islamic Shariah. For more details, please refer to Fataawa 81239 and 81545.
Your fear of Allah, your performance of obligatory prayers and other good acts will undoubtedly be rewarded by Allah. But, enjoying songs and music is not permissible under any condition, particularly for a person who is fully aware of this rule and who performs obligatory prayers. Therefore, we advise you to get rid of that bad habit and this is easy for you since you are inclined to good deeds. Know also that the good acts erase the bad deeds.
Allah knows best.
