Question
Does Last Prophet visit in dreams?
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
It is possible to see the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) in a dream. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "Whoever sees me in a dream, it is a true vision since the Satan does not appear in my shape" [Reported by Imam al-Bukhari ].
This Hadith means that one who sees the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) in the dream, sees the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) in fact because the Satan does not represent the person of Allah's Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam), provided that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) is seen in his known description.
