Unmarried girl working and living around men without Mahram

Question

It is the further detail of my question (42061). A girl (unmarried) is doing job in the other city where she has to live with the 3 men, day and night, in the office. She has separate room to sleep and during day most of the time she spent in field to meet women. She has no adequate place or people to live there with other family or women. Her family needs her income. She feels secure in living with her colleagues and they are very good people also. Her family has no objection to her job and also her would be husband does not prevent her to do such job. Is she right in doing such job? Please reply with the Noble Hadith and Sharia.

Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

Working in a mixed environment is not permitted for the many harms and temptation that could happen. Staying at night with alien men is more harmful and dangerous than working with them.
It is also forbidden for a woman to be alone with alien men regardless of their number according to some scholars.
In addition, Islam does not permit any kind of relation between a man and woman except in the boundary of marriage; for sure this kind of relation has been causing many harms to the Muslim societies.
Therefore, it is not permitted for this woman to work there and she should immediately give up this work, and seek any other job. Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {…And whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. …} [65: 2-3].
The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "Whoever leaves something for Allah, Allah will surely give him better than what he had left" . The approval of the family and fiancé does not change this rule; instead they should try to stop her from accepting this kind of work.
Allah knows best.
