Growing beard despite eczema

Question

I have tried on many attempts to grow a beard but when I do I find that my skin gets eczema underneath my facial hair. What should I do?

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. Growing the beard is compulsory. For more details, please read the Fatawa: 81533 and 81978. However, if a person faces any harm due to his growing his beard then he may remove it. But know that anything is made lawful for a necessity should be used only to the extent needed by that particular necessity. Allah knows best.
