Question
A married man justifies seeing naked women and porno clips on TV channels, prior intercourse with his wife, with the justification that it makes him do a better intercourse with his wife. Is this Haram or Halal?
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. What this person is doing is unlawful and what he claims to be his objective does not justify this bad deed. Allah ordered Muslims not to look at Awrah. Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do.}[24:30]. Pictures of naked women on TV or video are included in what is forbidden to be looked at. In fact, such a look might be a source of temptations and Haram. It also makes the person used to Munkar. So, this married man should read the Fiqh books listen to cassettes about such issues. He should also multiply performing good deeds that will protect him from Satan and its insinuations.
