Question
Do I have to tell the person who proposes to me about the disease I have? I have a disease that won't affect my future husband nor my future kids. I do take replacement tablets for that disease and the doctor told me I don't have to tell my future partner about it. Religiously speaking, do I have to tell the person who proposes to me about this disease although it won't affect him?
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
If the person who proposes to marry you does not set a condition that you must be free from all diseases, then you do not have to inform him, unless this disease is repugnant or will prevent him from fully taking pleasure in you, etc.
