Meaning of Ahadith about last days

Question

There is a long Hadith which states that during the last days there will be many parties and Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) answers to Hudhaifa (Radiya Allahu Anhu) that at that time desert all of the parties. It will be better for you, O Hudhaifa, to die whilst you bite onto the branch of a tree than to follow any of them. This Hadith is included in Silsilatul-Ahadith-Asaheehah (6/2739) by Albani. Is now that time?

Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

The texts that urge Muslims to adhere to the Muslims’ group have two meanings:

1)First, the (Jama’a) group that follows the truth that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) came with, like the foundations of the religion and the right creed.

2)Second, the group meaning the Muslim group and their religious and juristic Muslim leader.

Unless both of these two requirements are met, there is no Muslim group on the truth, and there is no religious and juristic Muslim leader for them.

Today, even though there is no religious and juristic Muslim leader for the Muslims in many Muslim countries there are groups that follow the Madhab of Ahlu Assunna Wal Jama’a (those who follow the Sunnah and stick to the Muslim community).

A Muslim must support and help these groups that are acting according to the truth, and cooperate with them in order to establish the Jama’a in its proper meaning.

Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {The believers, men and women, are Auliyâ' (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another, they enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. polytheism and disbelief of all kinds, and all that Islâm has forbidden);….}[9:71].

Allah knows best.
