Question

Adam was created from clay. Angels from light, Jinn/Shaitan from fire. Animals from water. How were birds created? Reply with reference from Qur’an.

Accepted Answer

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

Allah has created the birds from water like all other animals, because they are included in the Saying of Allah: {And We have made from water every living thing…..} [Quran 21:30].

There is another confirmation about the fact that they are created from water in the Saying of Allah: {Allâh has created every moving (living) creature from water. ….} [Qruan 24:45].

Allah explained that in details in the verse: {….Of them there are some that creep on their bellies,…}, like snakes and the like, {…some that walk on two legs,…} like birds, {…and some that walk on four….} like all other animals.
