Question

If I have to do the Sujood (at the end of my prayer) for forgetfulness or a Mistake, what am I supposed to recite in the Sujood and when I sit in between them? Please advice.

Accepted Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

The prostration for forgetfulness and the sitting between the two prostrations do not have any special mention, but what is legislated in them is what is legislated in the normal prostration of the prayer and the sitting between the two prostrations in prayer.
