Ruling on accepting food gifts on an innovated occasion
We live in a country where there are many Bid'ahs in the month of Muharram and my neighbors cook food on these days, especially on the days of the memory of the death of Al-Husayn ibn ‘Ali, may Allaah be pleased with him, and give it to us. Distance of certain number of years in Prophetic narrations
Assalamu Alaykum,
When the ahadith of the prophet PBUH mention a distance of certain number of years like 500 years between each heaven does this distance mean light years or the time it takes a bird to travel?
