Question

Asalamualaikum Wa Rakhmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu.. Brother first of all i would like to sincerley apologise to you.. i thought that i did not recieve all of my answers to the questions i had asked you. (Sorry). Secondly.. Do you know of any duas taht can be read or anything like that which is written in the Qur'aan that can improve the barakat in our household. I am soon to get married next year inshallah.. i feel bad when my parents struggle for money. I have applied for many jobs to help my parents out.. even though i have good grades alhamdulilah.. but no-one is ready to accept me. I want to help them because, when i leave my parents go to my in in-laws next year, i want them to live a life where they can breath properley and not struggle for money.
- I know last time, I had asked you about a certain dream i had, and you did not know the interpretation to this.. but a couple of days ago, i had a dream that was reciting surah al fatihah..(alhamdulilahi rabbil alameen).. i did not quite finish it as i woke up. If you know what this means.. it would be really nice for me if i found out the meaning to my dream. Last Night, I had a dream that i had a salah book in my hand and there was a masallah( Namaaz Carpet) on the floor. I began to do sajdah and then i got on my knees and put my head on the floor to give respect to Allah (swt). Please.. if you could let me know the meaning to this i would be really grateful. If not, then please give me a website where i can find this out. Jazakallah Khair. May you and your family, myself and everybody else who loves Allah be entered into Jannah Inshallah .

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

We are not aware of any specific supplication or a given act by which blessings take place in the house, but you may supplicate with general supplications such as: “O Allaah, bless for us that which you have provided us.” and “O Allaah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial and sustenance that is good, and deeds that are acceptable.”

Also, there are some deeds and acts that are means of blessings, among which is being grateful to Allaah. Allaah Says (what means): {And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, “If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor].}[Quran 14:7]

Being grateful is done by the heart by confessing the blessings of Allaah, and with the tongue by praising Him, and with the limbs by doing good deeds. Besides, keeping ties with kinship is also among the reasons of having an abundant provision; Anas may Allaah be pleased with him narrated that he heard the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) saying: “Whoever would like to have ample provision and a long life, let him keep ties with his kinship." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

However, one should avoid committing sins because sins are a reason of the removal of blessings; Allaah Says (what means): {And whatever strikes you of disaster — it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much.}[Quran 42:30]

Furthermore, Hakeem Ibn Hizaam may Allaah be pleased with him narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: "The buyer and seller have the choice to invalidate their contract as long as they do not depart from each other. If they are truthful and show the deficiency –if any –in the product, then they are blessed in this sale, but if they lied and hid the deficiency then the blessing in their sale is eradicated." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] Besides, Ibn Al-Qayyim may Allaah have mercy upon him said: “Among the evil consequences of the sin is …..that it removes the present blessings and prevents the future blessings.

As regards what you saw in the dream, then we apologize again for not interpreting it as interpreting dreams should only be done by people specialized in it because dreams are different according to the difference of circumstances and people.

Moreover, Al-Baaji may Allaah have mercy upon him narrated in “Al-Muntaqa" that Maalik may Allaah have mercy upon him said when asked about a man who interprets dreams for everybody: “Is he playing with the prophethood?” And then he said: “Dreams (the true visions of the believers) are a part of 46 parts of prophethood, so would he play with a matter that is a part of prophethood.”?

Also, we do not know any trustworthy site that interprets dreams. However, you should expect good from your dream.

Allaah Knows best.
