salaam, being a girl ,i need to know that am i allowed in islam to marry my cousin who once had homosexual relation with my brother in teens and then he repented .afterwards he never did that act and seriously want to marry me.and i.m confuse
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
What your cousin committed in the past does not prevent him from marrying you. Since he has sincerely repented from this act, then this is not a deficiency in him because repentance wipes out all previous sins and whoever repents from sin is like the one who did not sin. Therefore, if he is pleasing in regard to his religion and moral conduct, then you should not hesitate to accept him after having performed the Istikhaarah prayer. For more benefit on the Istikhaarah prayer, please refer to Fatwa 81434.
