Asalamualikum Warehmatullahe Wabarakatu! I am sending this question in regard of my previous question 2447517. As i mentioned that my co-wife living in USA is found involved in major sins ( visiting gay clubs + spending nights with gay people, consuming alcohol, taking drugs,walk almost naked on roads,keeping kids hungry) . Now my husband wants to call her back in saudi arabia and he believes that she will be alright once she under his supervision. I don have no problem with that my only concern is to make sure she is clean as she been spending nights with gay people and they from both genders . I asked him that he should run some test on her and he got mad at me that i don't have no right to make him do that. I want to know that if my husband's view is correct about my being not involved in this matter though its an health issue too. Jazak Allah Khair

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His Slave and Messenger.

It is permissible for you to ask your husband to carry out such tests as long as you fear for yourself [your health]. But is your husband obliged to do so? The answer is no, he is not obliged, especially since the matter is only based on suspicion, and in principle that woman is free from such dangerous diseases. So, you should seek the help of Allaah and be patient, and ask Him for safety in this worldly life and in the Hereafter.
