In Haram business with brothers who denied his rights

Question

I am doing gold jewelry business in partnership with my brothers who are 20 years older than I and took care of me since my father's death when I was nine. My brothers have not given me legal partnership rights because I don't have a male child. They have been borrowing money on interest. I have tried my best to stop this Haram, but they do not listen to me. I even came forward to sell my personal properties to meet the financial need and avoid interest money. They are buying properties for themselves and say that once their needs are satisfied they will stop borrowing money on interest. I know that the life we are living now is not Halal but I have no authority to stop this Haram. If I leave the business I will have to leave my birthrights and they will not pay any compensations for it. I am married and have three daughters. In this situation what should I do? My mind is troubled a lot of not knowing what decision to make. Please reply as soon as possible and help your brother in Islam.

Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
May Allah grant you the best reward for your craving after good for yourself and for your brothers as well. Do not despair of your brothers rather keep admonishing them, reminding them that what they are practising is not only Haram but it is among the major sins. Tell them that dealing with usury is actually declaring war against Allah and His Prophet. It is also destroying the money.
If they do not listen to you then talk to someone who can exhort them to leave such forbidden acts. If all the good efforts do not benefit and they still insist on practising Haram then you do not have any option other than separating yourself from them. Ask for your rights and beware of helping them in transgression. If they refuse to give your rights then seek a good mediator to convince them to grant you your rights. If this does not help, then you may plead in a court to take your rights but you are not permitted to continue with them in this Haram act at all.
Know also that according to Islamic Sharia, you have the same right in the inheritance as your other brothers. Also your share in the inheritance neither abates nor reduces for being younger than others or for not having male children. Being younger or not having male child are not legal reasons to prevent you from inheriting.
We ask Allah to Help you, grant you ease in all your matters and Make your brothers good with you.
Allah knows best.
