Question
I want some supplication for getting the person I want as my husband.
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
The Prophet used to supplicate with: "O The Living, O The Eternal One, I seek help in Your Grace. Set right all my affairs; give me not over to myself even for as little as a wink of an eye". [al-Nasaie and al-Bazzar as reported in Fath al-Bari]
The above-mentioned Dua' is strongly recommended for every Muslim, in all his/her affairs, since if one depends on Allah, He will be sufficient for him.
Allah, The Great and Almighty, knows what is good or bad for His servant and leads him to good.
Here, we state to our sister that a woman may be fond of some man and wish to be his wife but, passion may lead her to misery and distress. Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {… and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allâh knows but you do not know.}[2:216].
I ask Allah, The Exalted, to provide you with a virtuous husband and help you to be obedient servants.
We also draw your attention to the fact that a Muslim woman should not have any relation with alien men.
