Question
If I had a wet dream last night and I make a Ghusl. Can I wear my same pajamas the next night? If I wear the same pajamas do I have to take a bath the next morning in order to clean up?
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
al-Ghusl (ceremonial complete bath) becomes obligatory due to ejaculation of sperm. So, if one takes al-Ghusl, he becomes pure and wearing clothes that are spoiled with sperm does not constitute a reason to re-make al-Ghusl. In addition, according to the dominant opinion among scholars, sperm is pure although it is better to wash it, i.e. to wash the garment on which there is some trace of sperm. And this is safer and better.
