Fatwa CenterClaims that angels sin which are then immediately eliminated
Question
One of my friends informed me that when an angel does a sin it is wiped out immediately. My question is whether the angels do evil, and, if so, are their sins eliminated off as my friend informed me. I need a very urgent reply
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
The Angels are infallible as Allaah has protected them from committing sins. They do not commit sins at all. Allaah says (what means): {They do not disobey (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allaah, but do that which they are commanded.} [Quran 66:6]
Allaah also says (what means): {They speak not until He has spoken, and they act on His Command.} [Quran 21:27]
Therefore, the angels are predestined to obey Allaah and they never refuse to abide by His Orders.
From the above you can conclude that what this friend told you is not true as it goes against the evidence of the Quran.
