Making vow requires wording that implies commitment
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu, Shaykh. I am very confused regarding statements that I say and whether they constitute vows or not. Is it necessary to have the intention of vowing in order for a statement to be a vow, or is it not? Greeting must be returned in audible voice
Assalaamu alaykum. We know that replying to the greeting of Salaam is obligatory. However, if I reply in a low voice so that the person to whom the reply is given most probably cannot hear the reply, wil I be sinful?

Ten people fed as expiation must be Muslim
Assalaamu alaykum. If someone fed ten poor people as an expiatation for having broken an oath but that person just guessed that those people were Muslims and did not confirm their religion because they live in a Muslim majority country, will it be valid? Doubting whether one made vow or not

When young child sneezes
Assalaamu alaikum. If a small child who is learning how to speak sneezes, should I say, “Alhamdulillaah” to him so that he may learn it and say it when he sneezes, or should I say “YarhamukAllaah,” or should I keep quiet?

How to return greeting with sore throat

Not initiating Salaam does not amount to abandoning fellow Muslim
I have a question about the following hadith:
“The Muslim is not allowed to abandon a Muslim brother for more than three days. If three days pass and he meets him, he should greet him. If he (the other believer) returns his greeting, then they share the reward, but if he does not return it, he (alone) will incur the sin.”

Children sleeping in same bed with parents
Assalaamu alaykum, Mufti Saheb. I understand that children should have their own beds to sleep in. But if there is any reason, like a lack of space, can a child (boy or girl) of just over the age of 10 and below 11 sleep with the parents in their bed? What if this happens? Answering written salaam may be done orally
Assalaamu alaykum. May Allaah reward you for all the good that you do and increase you in goodness. I noticed that you never answer the Salaam greeting in your fatwas although most questions do start with it, and it is known that answering it is obligatory. Sleeping during day and staying awake at night not sin
Assalaamu alaykum. I read in many of your fatwas that it is not a sin to stay awake the whole night and sleep during the day but that it is not preferable. However, Allaah impliesa number of timesin the Quran that He created the night for sleep and the day for work. Does this mean that one is a sinner if he contradicts this natural cycle? Fasting oath expiation in white days
I fast the white days (the thirteenth, the fourteenth and the fifteenth) every lunar month. At the same time, three days of fasting are due on me is as an oath expiation. Licking fingers of left hand if used in eating
