Traveling for tourism – An Islamic view
Peace be upon you, Is it permissible for Muslims to travel in vacation to different countries such like Dubai, Syria, Turkey, Sweden etc. to enjoy holidays? Assalamualaikum, I recently painted on a canvas a picture of butterflies and flowers with a sky and clouds for my 4-5 year old niece, i recently rememered hearing that drawings are haram, my question is: is the canvas i painted haram and if it is what should i do about my situation? Using bathroom tiles which have drawings
We are trying to choose wall tiles for our bathrooms. Some of the tiles have drawings of flowers, shapes etc on them. Is it allowed in Islam to have tiles with designs on them or is it better to get plain ones.

Prohibition of musical instruments in the Quran
I asked one Imam that are dancing and music are haram? .. He said yes.. Further i asked that i have heard that Strings Instruments and Drums are haram is Islam and are mentioned in Quran.. A Sri Lankan Muslim supporting the Pakistani cricket team
I am a Sri Lankan but i'm supporting Pakistan cricket team when they are playing with sri lankan also. The main reason i support them is I like them and they are muslims. But some of my relation are telling it is not allowed to support when Pakistan & Sri Lanka are playing because Sri Lanka is your mother land.

Drawing faces with closed eyes
Assalamu Alaikum,
I attend an art club at my school (Islamic school) and the teacher said that it was okay to draw faces as long as the eyes were drawn closed. Is this true? She said that she asked a shiek, but I still have some doubts.

School used to hang students' photos on the wall
