What to do when others backbite
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu, Shaykh. If one cannot leave the place where backbiting is going on and people either do not stop when being asked to stop or do ot accept that what they do is backbiting and start arguing, can one put their fingers in their ears to block out their voices or put on a headset and listen to something beneficial?.. No sin in denying someone something and then giving it to him
If I tell someone that I will never give him something and I then give it to him later, willI be sinning? For example, if my mother told me that she will never give me this mobile phone although I wanted that phone, and then some days later she lets me have it, is she sinning? And am I sinning by accepting that mobile phone? May Allaah reward you.

Degree of authenticity of Ibn 'Abbaas's report about masturbation

Asking Allah to remove fever without cursing it

Looking at fully-covered woman without lust
