Accepted Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

Without any legal necessity, keeping a picture of a person is prohibited, according to Prophet's (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) Hadith: “Angels do not enter a house where there is a picture or a dog”.This is a very great punishment and Islam punishes people only for Haram deeds. The house that is far from angels is prepared to become a residence of JINN and SATAN. Allah knows best.
